It was really great to get away for 5 days. Stacey, Sharon, Matt, Emma, Sarah and Sharon mum and dad, we all left for Melbourne on Thursdays morning at 4 o'clock. We arrive at 1 in the afternoon, after a long drive but fun one. Then we decide to go for a walk into the city of melb and visit the DFO but when we arrive it was close but it was nice to just walk and see the sites with my mate Sharon. Although Sharon and I are really close friends and we see each other all the time it was just nice to see her in a different time of frame where is so comfortable, and getting to know more things that I didn't know. It was nice to just have some quality time with her and her showing me the place she loves. Well back to the holiday. We did a lot of walking all over melb. The next day we went to queen vic markets and in the afternoon, we went for a drive to the outlets for the bargains. Then we went to another DFO and did some shopping. Boy I didn't know we could do that much shopping. It was so great and funny shopping with everyone, I had a ball. I kept getting told to buy for me but I just love buying for my family. On Saturday morning I decide to get up and go explore on my own around north melb, it was at 6.30 in the morning. I just walk and walk looking around at the house and shops. It funny thing was that I end up at the markets and I didn't know where I was but it was nice to wander on my own. Melb is a lovely place but I don't if I would like to live there, but I would love to go back again for a holiday next year. Then Sharon to me back to the city DFO again to have alook They so big and great bargains. I bought my daughter a guess bag and it had 70% off , that's cheap. We went to more markets on sat and Sunday. Yes I did buy myself something. Sunday Afternoon we went to the Aquarium But first to the crowns to have a look wow. Both place were great and I'm glad I got a chance to see all of it. Yes Monday was the last day we left melb by 7.30am to come home but we stop at some place on the way. Sharon wanted me to see some mineral springs and try them. She didn't tell me that they would taste bloody awful, she thought it was funny watching me spit it out. Then we had a look around other places and then start to head home but we didn't get very far the car broke down. So we had to call out the raa but it call something different on vic. He had trouble to see what it was, then he find it. The timing belt has come off, I know that feeling and I could see it on my friends face but there is nothing you can do to help them. I felt so helpless, nothing you can say to take that look away or do. It is so hard to see them go though this and you know there is nothing you can do. So the car is stuck in vic and waiting to hear how much it will be and how long. The guys said if it just the belt it will be ready on Thurs but yes there that but if it did some damage it could be the head and that will take a week but the worst could be the engine. I'm hoping it not that for my friend and something simple like just the belt. So we had to catch a bus home early this morning and it was -1 there bloody cold at 2 in the morning. When I got home I find that I had my 2 assignment back and I didnt pass but a mess to ring my tutor which I did and we talk for hours about my assignment, just want to give up when i saw it. The only person I want to to talk is going through her own stuff and I didn't want to intrude on that. Well here's some photos from melb. I will puts some more on later.
