Priorities, Please

Make a list of what's important to you. Whether you write it down on paper or keep it in mind doesn't matter. What does matter is that you're able to prioritize both tasks and people with an eye toward the future. Don't let anything stand between you and what you want. You know how you can say anything at all in French, and it still sounds like poetry? That's how you'll sound. This is powerful stuff. Use it wisely. Are you still capable of rational judgments? Probably not. You're feeling frenetic -- possibly all-out frazzled. This is one of those times when brutally honest best friends come in handy. You're due for the rewards you know you deserve. So in between meetings, overtime and emergency consultations, save just a little time for a celebratory dinner. Enough with the endless hours of work, the unswerving emotional devotion and the diligent attention to detail. If all parties concerned don't see your worth at this point, you can rest assured that someone else will -- and that you'll hear about it soon. Makes it easier to negotiate, doesn't it? You've had all the bickering you can stand. You're ready to deliver an extremely terse good-bye. Just be sure you don't rush out immediately to find yourself another worthy opponent.
